A Great Forthcoming Concert at St Marie’s Cathedral with the world-famous choir, The Tallis Scholars, coming to St Marie’s for a Christmas concert on 16 December. The programme includes Advent and Christmas works by Monteverdi, Palestrina, Praetorius and Isaac.

  Referred to on BBC Radio 3 as, ‘One of the UK’s greatest cultural exports’, The Tallis Scholars have performed in churches, cathedrals and venues in every continent on the planet except Antarctica!  These include the Sistine Chapel, the Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall in New York, St Mark’s Venice, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Royal Albert Hall and the Sydney Opera House.
